You can take a train from Fuji to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Fuji in April, Kyoto is slightly colder at night with lows of 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Nara.
