Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt to Rome is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Time to Central European Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. When traveling from Sharm El Sheikh in December, plan for slightly colder days and much colder nights in Rome: temperatures range from 16°C by day to 4°C at night. Getting from Florence to Venice by train takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Florence in December, expect Venice to be a bit cooler, temps between 11°C and 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Fri) so you can travel to Madrid.
