A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.

Singapore, Singapore to Sapporo is an approximately 13-hour flight. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Expect colder temperatures when traveling from Singapore in April; daily highs in Sapporo reach 9°C and lows reach 7°C. Hakodate

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Mon): take in panoramic vistas at Goryokaku Tower, then stroll through Goryokaku Park, and then hunt for treasures at Hakodate Morning Market. Getting from Hakodate to Toyako-cho by car takes about 2.5 hours. In April, plan for daily highs up to 13°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) early enough to drive to Noboribetsu.

Asahikawa

Perched on the confluence of four rivers and surrounded by green hills, Asahikawa combines a modern city experience with the pristine nature nearby.
Change things up with a short trip to Himawari no Sato in Hokuryu-cho (about 1h 15 min away).
