A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Sat): get a taste of the local shopping with Tanukikoji Shopping Street, stop by Dosan Shokusai Hug Mart, then examine the collection at Sapporo Beer Museum, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Sapporo JR Tower Observatory T38. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Historical Village of Hokkaido (Kaitaku-no Mura), then contemplate the waterfront views at Moerenuma Park, then take in nature's colorful creations at Hakkogakuen Hanashobupark, and finally walk around Nakajima Park.

Singapore, Singapore to Sapporo is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Time to Japan Standard Time is 1 hour. Traveling from Singapore in April, things will get cooler in Sapporo: highs are around 9°C and lows about 7°C. You'll have a few hours on the 27th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling to Hakodate.

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
On the 27th (Mon), take in panoramic vistas at Goryokaku Tower, admire the striking features of Goryokaku Park, and then hunt for treasures at Hakodate Morning Market. On the 28th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, make a trip to Hachimanzaka, contemplate the long history of The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St.John's Church Hakodate, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakodate, and finally take a stroll through Motomachi.

Getting from Sapporo to Hakodate by combination of flight and shuttle takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: fly; or drive. In April, daily temperatures in Hakodate can reach 13°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Wed) so you can drive to Toyako-cho.

Perhaps the island's best-known hot spring resort, Noboribetsu has a long history of tourism.
On the 30th (Thu), find something for the whole family at Noboribetsu Date Historic Village, then witness a stunning natural landmark at Oyunumagawa Natural Footbath, and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas. Here are some ideas for day two: make a trip to Cape Chikyu, observe the fascinating underwater world at Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe, get to know the resident critters at Noboribetsu Bear Park, then take in the dramatic natural features at Jigokudani, and finally take in the natural beauty of Oyunuma.

Step out of Asahikawa with an excursion to Himawari no Sato in Hokuryu-cho--about 1h 15 min away. Traveling by car from Noboribetsu to Asahikawa takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Noboribetsu in May, plan for a bit warmer nights in Asahikawa, with lows around 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Makubetsu-cho.
