Do your shopping at Laukko Manor and Galleria Ronga. St Olaf's Church in Tyrvaa and Pyhan Birgitan kirkko will appeal to history buffs. Explore Tampere's surroundings by going to Oravivuori Triangulation Tower (in Korpilahti), Hameenlinna (Evo Hiking Area & Birthplace of Jean Sibelius) and Pihamaa Estate & Winery (in Asikkala). Auckland, New Zealand to Tampere is an approximately 28-hour combination of flight and train. You can also take a train; or fly. Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Martinkirkko and Kuusisto Manor will appeal to history buffs. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Vepsa Island and Kupittaa Park.
