You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.

On the 16th (Wed), appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Mark's Square, then admire the landmark architecture of Doge's Palace, then enjoy breathtaking views from St Mark's Campanile, and finally make a trip to Basilica di San Marco. On the 17th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the views from Ponte di Rialto, admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then take a stroll through Campo del Ghetto, then examine the collection at Museo Ebraico di Venezia, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande.

Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Hyeres: La Ponche Beach (in Saint-Tropez), Eglise Saint Jean-Baptiste (in Sollies-Pont) and Plage des Marines (in Cogolin).
