A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get in touch with nature at River Seine and Ile Saint-Louis. Shop till you drop at Champs-Elysees and Le Marais. Step out of Paris with an excursion to Palace of Versailles in Versailles--about 44 minutes away. For shopping fun, head to Albert Cuyp Markt or De Negen Straatjes ('9 Little Streets'). Take a break from the city and head to Zandvoort aan Zee and Emperor's Canal (Keizersgracht). Traveling from Geneva in July, you will find days in Amsterdam are little chillier (26°C), and nights are about the same (16°C).
