Boom is a Belgian town, located in both the arrondissement and province of Antwerp. Get some historical perspective at Fort Breendonk and Fort 5. Get some cultural insight at Fort Van Duffel and Gilliot & Roelants Tegelmuseum. Get out of town with these interesting Boom side-trips: Balloon Rides (in Sint-Niklaas), Buggenhout Bos (in Buggenhout) and Verbeke Foundation (in Stekene). As the island’s largest city and most-visited site, Ibiza is famous for its electric nightlife and lively Mediterranean culture.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Castle of Ibiza and Puig de Missa. Get some cultural insight at Platja de ses Salines and Dalt Vila. Step out of Ibiza Town to go to Sant Antoni de Portmany and see Cala Bassa, which is approximately 32 minutes away. Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Sun): enjoy the sand and surf at Castel Plage, then take a stroll through Vieille Ville, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Nicholas Cathedral. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Musée Marc Chagall, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate, then contemplate the long history of Place Garibaldi, and finally see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
