Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Step out of the city life by going to Kitsilano Beach and Granville Island. Museum of Anthropology and Gastown are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's lots more to do: walk around Stanley Park, take in the dramatic natural features at Vancouver Seawall, and take in the awesome beauty at Grouse Mountain.

Amritsar, India to Vancouver is an approximately 19.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. The time zone changes from India Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time, which is usually a -13 hour difference. When traveling from Amritsar in July, plan for much colder days and little chillier nights in Vancouver: temperatures range from 28°C by day to 17°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sat) so you can travel to Tofino.

A tiny settlement on Vancouver Island's wild western coastline, surfers' favorite Tofino occupies a scenic location at the edge of Clayoquot Sound, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Visiting Long Beach and Wild Pacific Trail will get you outdoors. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Chesterman Beach and Cox Bay Beach. Step out of Tofino to go to Ucluelet and see Amphitrite Point Lighthouse, which is approximately 44 minutes away. Spend the 28th (Sun) exploring nature at Pacific Rim National Park. There's still lots to do: relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

Traveling by flight from Vancouver to Tofino takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of flight and car. Traveling from Vancouver in July, expect Tofino to be a bit cooler, temps between 21°C and 13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Tue) so you can go by car to Victoria.
