Daintree is a settlement in North Queensland 111km north of Cairns and 56km from Port Douglas, Queensland. Get a sense of the local culture at Daintree Discovery Centre and James Cook Museum. Take a break from the city and head to Daintree Rainforest - Cooper Creek Wilderness and Photography Tours. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Daintree: Dubuji Boardwalk (in Cape Tribulation) and Alexandra Bay Waterfall (in Diwan). Spend the 28th (Sun) exploring nature at Daintree National Park.
