Located at the center of Yamaguchi Prefecture, the regional capital of Yamaguchi is renowned for its temples and shrines.
Get in touch with nature at Miyajima and Akiyoshido. You'll explore and learn at Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Hall and Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Yamaguchi side-trips: Hagi (Hagi Hakubutsukan, Hagi Castle Town, &more), Hatsukaichi (Daishoin Temple, Itsukushima Shrine, &more) and Bungotakada (Dagashiyano-yume Museum & Matama Beach).
