Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. On the 9th (Mon), identify plant and animal life at Glen Etive, look for all kinds of wild species at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, and then contemplate the long history of Glenfinnan Viaduct. Keep things going the next day: take a memorable drive along Morar Beach, then take in the dramatic scenery at Inchree Waterfalls, and then trek along Glencoe Lochan.

Beauly is a town in the Kilmorack Parish of the Scottish County of Inverness, on the River Beauly, 10mi west of Inverness by the Far North railway line.
