Durness is a village and civil parish in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. Step out of the city life by going to Handa Island Wildlife Reserve and Sandwood Bay Beach. Visit Polin Beach and Clachtoll Beach Campsite for some beach relaxation. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Durness: Little Assynt Estate (in Lochinver) and Scourie Bay (in Scourie). There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Balnakeil Bay and take in the exciting artwork at Lotte Glob.
