One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get some historical perspective at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Get some cultural insight at Myeongdong Shopping Street and National Museum of Korea. When in Seoul, make a side trip to see Nami Island in Chuncheon, approximately Chuncheon away. And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Insadong, appreciate the history behind Gwanghwamun Gate, shop like a local with Namdaemun Market, and take in panoramic vistas at N Seoul Tower.

The fourth-largest city in South Korea, Daegu sprawls out across a wide, flat valley overlooked by a sacred Buddhist mountain.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Thu): take in the spiritual surroundings of Jeondong Catholic Church, contemplate the long history of Omokdae and Imokdae, then steep yourself in history at Pungnammun Gate, and finally don't miss a visit to Jeonju Hanok Village.
