One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Head to Myeongdong Shopping Street and Namdaemun Marketfor some retail therapy. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Hamdeok Beach and Hyeopjae Beach. Visiting Seongsan Ilchulbong and Gwaneumsa Temple will get you outdoors. There's much more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Manjanggul Cave, head outdoors with Gimnyeong Seonsegi Beach, take in nature's colorful creations at Hallim Park, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulsari Tapsa Temple.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Haedong Yonggung Temple and Beomeosa Temple will appeal to history buffs. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach. There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Gamcheon Culture Village, walk around Flower Clock, explore the different monuments and memorials at UN Memorial Cemetery, and hunt for treasures at Jagalchi Market.

You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. In April, daily temperatures in Busan can reach 22°C, while at night they dip to 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Tue) early enough to travel to Tokyo.
