Seoul

— 16 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Explore hidden gems such as Bongeunsa Temple and Ewha Womans University. Museum-lovers will get to explore Gyeongbokgung Palace and Leeum Samsung Museum of Art. Change things up with these side-trips from Seoul: Yongin (Everland, Korean Folk Village, &more), DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju) and Hwaseong Fortress (in Suwon). Spend the 4th (Sat) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. Pack the 8th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Seoul Children's Grand Park. Next up on the itinerary: get a taste of the local shopping with Myeongdong Shopping Street, admire the landmark architecture of Deoksugung, steep yourself in history at Changdeokgung Palace, and appreciate the history behind Gwanghwamun Gate.
