Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
For shopping fun, head to Happio or Il Pastaio di Fabio Campobasso. Step off the beaten path and head to Moai Beach and Food Tours. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rome: Maccarese (Acqua e Sale - Stabilimento Balneare & Bau Beach), Fregene (Hang Loose, La Nave Beach, &more) and La Capannina Lavinio (in Anzio). And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Colosseum, enjoy the sand and surf at Spiaggia di Torre Paola, admire the striking features of Pantheon, and wander the streets of Trastevere.
