Rochefort-en-Terre is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France.Rochefort-en-Terre is a designated “Petite Cité de Caractére”.The medieval chateau located in the town was the home of American painter Alfred Klots. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): get to know the resident critters at Parc tropical and then examine the collection at Parc de Prehistoire de Bretagne. On the 3rd (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Manoir de l'Automobile, appreciate the history behind Horloge Astronomique du Frere Bernardin, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique Notre Dame du Roncier, and finally browse the exhibits of Univers du Poete Ferrailleur.

Founded over 2,000 years ago, Vannes is a vacation harbor town with beaches, shopping, museums, and gardens, as well as interesting medieval city gates and timber-framed houses scattered throughout its Old Town.
Get out of town with these interesting Vannes side-trips: Groix (in Lorient), Plage de Port-Kennet (in Piriac-sur-Mer) and Plage de Pen Bron (in La Turballe). Carnac is a commune beside the Gulf of Morbihan on the south coast of Brittany in the Morbihan department in north-western France.Its inhabitants are called Carnacois in French.
