Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Get a sense of the local culture at Batalha Monastery and Castelo de S. Jorge. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Capela dos Ossos and Cabo da Roca. Step out of Lisbon to go to Fatima and see Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Belém Tower, take an in-depth tour of Carmo Archaeological Museum, take a stroll through Bairro Alto, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Lisbon Oceanarium.

You won't run out of things to do in Marrakech, a city where you can spend days exploring grandiose palaces and mosques, photogenic gardens, sacred tombs, and traditional mansions that evoke a bygone era.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Fri): admire the natural beauty at Jardin Majorelle and then hike along Berber Ecomuseum. On the next day, look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas and then indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Barrio Santa Cruz and Plaza del Triunfo. Get some cultural insight at Plaza de España and Catedral de Sevilla. Change things up with a short trip to Bodegas Luis Perez in Jerez De La Frontera (about 1h 15 min away).
