Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.

Museum-lovers will appreciate Sinistra and Museu Condes de Castro. Get some historical perspective at Castelo dos Mouros and Park and National Palace of Pena. Take a break from Sintra with a short trip to Palacio Nacional de Mafra in Mafra, about 32 minutes away.
