City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Escape the urban bustle at Mount Washington and Cucumber Falls. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Randyland and Fort Necessity National Battlefield. Get out of town with these interesting Pittsburgh side-trips: Searight Toll House & Museum (in Uniontown), Fallingwater (in Mill Run) and Farmington (Laurel Caverns, Woodlands Spa at Nemacolin, &more). Spend the 26th (Thu) exploring nature at Friendship Hill National Historic Site. There's still lots to do: explore the engaging exhibits at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, immerse yourself in nature at McConnells Mill State Park, savor the flavors at City Brew Tours, and contemplate the long history of Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village.
