A convenient place to stay when exploring the island, the city of Puerto Princesa sits on the coast in the center of the landmass.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Sun): visit Stellar Grounds and then explore the gorgeous colors at Tubbataha Reef. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 17th (Mon): stop by Baker's Hill and then contemplate the waterfront views at Honda Bay.

Traveling by combination of flight and bus from Puerto Princesa to Lapu Lapu takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and bus. In January, daily temperatures in Lapu Lapu can reach 85°F, while at night they dip to 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Boracay.
