On the 29th (Fri), steep yourself in history at Huaca del Sol y la Luna, delve into the distant past at Site Museum, and then contemplate the long history of Chan Chan. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Trujillo - Catedral de Santa Maria, then explore the ancient world of El Brujo, and then see the interesting displays at Museo Cao.

Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Sun): contemplate the long history of Monastery of Santo Domingo (Iglesia y Monasterio de Santo Domingo), then take a stroll through Centro Historico de Lima, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of Lima, and finally wander the streets of San Isidro.
