Founded in the 16th century, the small city of Ramallah has built a reputation as the "Cultural Capital of the West Bank," known for its open-minded religious attitude.
Get out of town with these interesting Ramallah side-trips: Gush Etzion (The Zomet Institute & Caliber 3), Bethlehem (Star Street, The Church of St. Catherine, &more) and Jericho (The Good Samaritan Museum, Hisham's Palace, &more).
