Located in the popular holiday region of Ticino, Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking town in Switzerland.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): buy something for everyone on your list at Fox Town Factory Stores and then stroll around Parco Civico. On the 4th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through Monte San Salvatore, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Monte San Giorgio, then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Lugano, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli.
