Only one word accurately describes India's commercial capital Mumbai: big.

Take a break from the city and head to Malgund Beach and Kanheri Caves. Museum-lovers will get to explore Jehangir Art Gallery and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mumbai: Thane (Sai Baba Temple, Butterfly park - Ovalekar Wadi, &more) and Navi Mumbai (Inorbit Mall Vashi, Parsik Hill, &more). You can drive from Mumbai to Pune in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of bus and train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive back home.
