Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang sits at the meeting point of two rivers and offers numerous opportunities for sailing, climbing, and exploring scenic caves and waterfalls.
Popular historic sites such as Wat Xiengthong and Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham are in your itinerary. You'll explore and learn at Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre and Royal Palace Museum. There's lots more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Kuang Si Butterfly Farm, steep yourself in history at Wat Manorom, don't miss a visit to Old Quarter Luang Prabang, and admire the sheer force of Kuang Si Waterfall.
