Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
On the 16th (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Yonaha Maehama Beach. On the 17th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the views from Kurima Bridge, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Toguchi no Hama, then take in the views from Irabu Bridge, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Sunayama Beach.

Iriomote-jima

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
Relax by the water at Ida no Hama Beach and Nakano Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Canyoning & Rappelling Tours and Iriomote Island. Start off your visit on the 21st (Thu): stroll through Yonehara Beach, then visit a coastal fixture at Cape Hirakubozaki, and then enjoy breathtaking views from Tamatorizaki Observatory. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): stop by Itsukushima Gekijyo, step off the mainland to explore Miyajima, and then take in the awesome beauty at Mt. Misen. Getting from Ishigaki to Hatsukaichi by combination of flight and train takes about 6 hours. Traveling from Ishigaki in March, expect nights in Hatsukaichi to be much colder, around 6°C, while days are slightly colder, around 16°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sun) so you can catch the train to Kyoto.
