Universal Studios Japan has been added to your itinerary. Shop till you drop at Dotombori District and Naniwa Meibutsu Ichibirian Dotombori. Popular historic sites such as Osaka Castle and Nigatsu-do Temple are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Osaka: Nara (Todai-ji Temple, Yoshikien, &more). Traveling by car from Osaka to Kyoto takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 29°C in May, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) so you can catch the train to Nagoya.

On the 14th (Tue), contemplate the long history of Nagoya Castle, examine the collection at Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, don't miss a visit to Osu Shopping Street, then stop by Sakae, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Nagoya TV Tower. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the historical opulence of Inuyama Castle, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Higashiyama Zoo & Botanical Garden, then explore the activities along Yamazaki River, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Atsuta Jingu Shrine.

Getting from Kyoto to Nagoya by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Kyoto, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Nagoya, ranging from highs of 24°C to lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Wed) so you can travel to Yokohama.

Once a small fishing town, Yokohama was one of the first ports to welcome foreign trade in the 19th century, after which it grew into Japan's second largest city and a bustling metropolis.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Thu): don't miss a visit to Kōtoku-in, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Hase-dera Temple, then examine the collection at Yokohama Silk Museum, and finally wander the streets of Yokohama Chinatown. On the next day, take in nature's colorful creations at Sankeien Gardens, then steep yourself in history at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and then take a peaceful walk through Yokohama Nature Sanctuary.

You can do a combination of train and subway from Nagoya to Yokohama in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In May in Yokohama, expect temperatures between 27°C during the day and 19°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Tokyo.
