A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Tue): see the vivid underwater world at Yabiji, then get interesting insight from Tours, then head outdoors with Sunayama Beach, and finally snap pictures at Ikema Ohashi Bridge. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
On the 10th (Thu), explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo, enjoy the sand and surf at Manza Beach, make a trip to Cape Maeda, then make a trip to Onna Station Nakayukui Market, and finally see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour. Keep things going the next day: steep yourself in history at The Tower of Himeyuri, appreciate the extensive heritage of Okinawa Peace Memorial Park, then admire the verdant scenery at Valley of Gangala, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Clara Church.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Shop till you drop at Dotombori District and Nishijin Textile Center.
