Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Step out of Tokyo with an excursion to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama--about 30 minutes away. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, stroll through Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, get a sense of history and politics at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Senso-ji Temple.

Paris, France to Tokyo is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. Traveling from Paris to Tokyo, you'll lose 8 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Paris in November, expect Tokyo to be a bit warmer, temps between 19°C and 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sat) so you can catch the train to Kanazawa.

Kick off your visit on the 17th (Sun): make a trip to Omicho Market, steep yourself in history at Higashichaya Old Town, step into the grandiose world of Kanazawa Castle, take in nature's colorful creations at Kenrokuen Garden, then make a trip to Seisonkaku Villa, and finally examine the collection at Ishikawa Prefectural Museum for Traditional Products and Crafts. Keep things going the next day: appreciate the views at Aratama Valley, take in breathtaking views at Tedori Gorge, stroll around Ishikawa Jumoku Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Ninja Temple, then admire the striking features of Kanazawa Station, and finally steep yourself in history at Nomura Family Samurai House.

Take a train from Tokyo to Kanazawa in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. November in Kanazawa sees daily highs of 17°C and lows of 8°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

Go for a jaunt from Kyoto to Konohana to see Universal Studios Japan about 1h 15 min away. Take a train from Kanazawa to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in November, and nighttime lows around 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Fri) so you can take a train to Himeji.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): take in nature's colorful creations at Koko-en Garden, explore the historical opulence of Himeji Castle, then don't miss a visit to Shoshazan Engyoji, and finally steep yourself in history at Yoneda Taishiji Temple. On your second day here, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Takamikura and then trek along Mt Shosha hiking.
