Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. Bring the kids along to Pompeii Archaeological Park and MUSA - Museo Universitario delle Scienze e delle Arti. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Naples: Francesco (Frank) Carpegna - Walking with the Gods (in Positano) and Vietri sul Mare (Le Vigne di Raito & Sol’Art Ceramiche). There's lots more to do: make a trip to Miglio Sacro, contemplate the long history of Castel Nuovo - Maschio Angioino, delve into the distant past at Parco Acheologico di Ercolano, and see the interesting displays at Certosa e Museo di San Martino Napoli.

Known for its impressive hillside cascade of colorful stone buildings down to the Mediterranean shore, Amalfi is the cultural and commercial heart of southern Italy's Amalfi Coast.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Fornillo and Spiaggia di castiglione. Change things up with a short trip to I Suoni degli Dei - Pelagos in Praiano (about 34 minutes away). There's still lots to do: awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di San Pancrazio Martire, admire the natural beauty at Villa Cimbrone Gardens, and stroll through Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte.
