Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
On the 22nd (Sun), wander the streets of Campo del Ghetto and then contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande. Here are some ideas for day two: snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, admire the landmark architecture of Doge's Palace, then snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, then admire the striking features of Basilica di San Marco, and finally don't miss a visit to Peggy Guggenheim Collection.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Venice is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and shuttle. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Tel Aviv to Venice. Traveling from Tel Aviv in September, things will get a bit cooler in Venice: highs are around 29°C and lows about 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Tue) early enough to take a bus to Verona.

The famous setting for Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, Verona is one of northern Italy's main tourist destinations, largely owing to its incredibly rich artistic heritage.

Tivoli is a town and comune in Lazio, central Italy, about 30km east-north-east of Rome, at the falls of the Aniene river where it issues from the Sabine hills. Explore Tivoli's surroundings by going to Cascata delle Marmore (in Marmore), Monastero Di S.Benedetto (in Subiaco) and Basilica di Santa Maria di Collemaggio e Porta Santa (in L'Aquila).
