A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
The Trianons & The Hamlet and National Archives are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Basilica Cathedral of Saint-Denis and Village de Chessy. When in Paris, make a side trip to see Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Maincy, approximately Maincy away. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Albert Kahn Musee et Jardins, step off the mainland to explore Ile Saint-Louis, wander the streets of Place de la Bastille, and contemplate the long history of Maison de Victor Hugo.

Kick off your visit on the 4th (Mon): admire the landmark architecture of Ecole Supérieure d'Art et Design Le Havre-Rouen, then head off the coast to Les Andelys, then don't miss a visit to Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, and finally wander the streets of Rue du Gros-Horloge. On the next day, admire the masterpieces at Ceramics Museum (Musee de la Ceramique), contemplate the long history of Palais Benedictine, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedrale de Caudebec-En-Caux, and finally step into the grandiose world of Chateau Du Taillis.
