Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe will appeal to history buffs. Visiting Île de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis will get you outdoors. And it doesn't end there: admire the striking features of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, contemplate the long history of Sainte-Chapelle, make a trip to Luxembourg Palace, and wander the streets of Place de la Bastille.

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Relax by the water at Playa de La Barceloneta and Nova Mar Bella Beach. Your inner history buff will appreciate Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Barcelona Cathedral. Take a break from Barcelona with a short trip to Sant Miquel del Fai Monastery in Sant Feliu de Codines, about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: walk around Parc Guell, take in the waterfront at Port Vell, get great views at Torre de Collserola, and steep yourself in history at Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.
