Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Visit Fort Lovrijenac and Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola for their historical value. Take a break from the city and head to Elaphiti Islands and Sveti Jakov Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Dubrovnik side-trips: Cavtat (Cavtat Seaside Promenade & Cavtat Cemetery).
