Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Step off the beaten path and head to Minceta Fortress and Beach Kupari. Do some cultural sightseeing at Upper Corner Tower Foundry Museum and Vlaho Bukovac House. Take a break from Dubrovnik with a short trip to Cavtat Old Town in Cavtat, about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Sveti Jakov Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Lapad Beach, get to know the fascinating history of Brsalje Street, and step off the mainland to explore Lokrum Island.

Omiš is a town and port in the Dalmatia region of Croatia, and is a municipality in the Split-Dalmatia County.
