Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
On the 6th (Sat), examine the collection at National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History, then take an in-depth tour of Museo de la Nacion, and then get to know the fascinating history of Centro Historico de Lima. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Sun): admire the masterpieces at Museo de Arte de Lima - MALI, then get a taste of the local shopping with Shopping Center Larcomar (Centro Comercial Larcomar), and then head outdoors with Balneario La Punta.

Montreal, Canada to Lima is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Montreal in October: high temperatures in Lima hover around 24°C and lows are around 19°C.
