Almada is a city and a municipality in Portugal, located on the southern margin of the Tagus River, on the opposite side of the river from Lisbon. Escape the urban bustle at Parque Natural da Arrabida and Praia de Galapinhos. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Praia da California and Ribeira do Cavalo Beach. Explore Almada's surroundings by going to Setubal (Figueirinha Beach & Praca do Bocage) and Casa Mae da Rota de Vinhos (in Palmela). There's still lots to do: appreciate the history behind Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei, make a trip to Overlooking Lisbon, and kick back and relax at Lagoa de Albufeira Beach.

Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Praia Fluvial de Mourao and Praia Fluvial de Monsaraz. Go for a jaunt from Evora to Monsaraz to see Monsaraz Castle and Walls about 52 minutes away. Odemira is a town and a municipality in Beja District in the Portuguese region of Alentejo. We've included these beaches for you: Praia do Carvalhal and Praia da Azenha do Mar. Visiting Praia das Furnas and Ilha do Pessegueiro will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Odemira side-trips: Porto Covo (Praia Grande & Praia Do Salto) and Vila Nova de Milfontes (Farol de Milfontes, Cape Sardao, &more). There's still lots to do: grab your bike and head to Rota Vicentina and pause for some serene contemplation at Capela de Nossa Senhora do Mar.

Grândola is a town and municipality in Setúbal District in Portugal. Take a break from the city and head to Comporta Beach and Praia de Melides. Relax by the water at Praia da Gale-Fontainhas and Praia do Carvalhal. Get out of town with these interesting Grandola side-trips: Praia do Monte Velho (in Santiago do Cacem), Saki (in Santo Andre) and Praia da Samoqueira (in Porto Covo). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Praia da Aberta Nova, stroll through Pego Beach, and get engrossed in the history at Sines Museum.
