City of Romance

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Explore hidden gems such as Castello di Miramare - Museo Storico and Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Piazza San Marco and San Giorgio Maggiore. Venture out of the city with trips to Verona (Casa di Giulietta, Piazza delle Erbe, &more), Basilica di Aquileia (in Aquileia) and Grado (Basilica of Santa Eufemia & Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Doge's Palace, admire the landmark architecture of Torre dell'Orologio, wander the streets of Dorsoduro, and stop by Cannaregio.
