Astana, Kazakhstan to Tashkent is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Alma-Ata Time (ALMT) to Uzbekistan Time (UZT), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to travel to Khiva.
