New York City of Canada

Possibly the world's most diverse city, Toronto houses over 80 ethnic communities speaking nearly 150 different languages or dialects.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to HMCS Haida National Historic Site and Sunset Point Park. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Niagara River Recreation Trail and Peterborough Lift Lock. Explore Toronto's surroundings by going to St. Catharines (Sunset Beach & Della Terra Fresh Olive Oil & Balsamic Tasting Bar), Cobourg Beach (in Cobourg) and Niagara-on-the-Lake (Trius Winery, Konzelmann Estate Winery, &more). Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Gibraltar Point Beach, explore the world behind art at The AGO, Art Gallery of Ontario, admire the landmark architecture of Adamson Estate, and make a trip to Village of Islington.

Quebec's Metropolis

Quebec's economic and cultural capital, Montreal serves as the province's major point of entry, known for its rich history and high standard of living.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lieu Historique National du Canal-de-Lachine and Abbaye de Saint-Benoit-du-Lac. Place Jacques-Cartier and Chateau Taillefer Lafon are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Montreal: Arteria Gallery (in Bromont), Douglass Beach (in Lac-Brome) and Lolipop (in Val David). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Tam Bao Son Buddhist Monastery, contemplate the long history of Ancienne Prison de L'Orignal Old Jail, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Zoo de Granby, and examine the collection at Barbie Expo.
