The capital city of an eponymous province, Kanchanaburi is a pleasant town with lively markets and a good selection of restaurants.
Visiting Erawan National Park and Tham Phu Wa Temple will get you outdoors. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Tiger Temple ( Wat Pa luang Ta Bua) and Bridge Over the River Kwai.
