Crossroads of Europe

Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.
Get some cultural insight at Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg and Little Venice. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg and La Neustadt. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Strasbourg: Domaine Pierre Adam (in Ammerschwihr), Gerald Kieffer Vins d'Alsace (in Itterswiller) and Cave de Turckheim (in Turckheim). Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of La Petite France, browse the exhibits of Fort De Schoenenbourg, appreciate the extensive heritage of Centre-ville de Strasbourg, and don't miss a visit to Place Stanislas.
