One of the best bases for ecotourism in the Serra Gaúcha area, the old town of Canela charms visitors with quaint architecture and a laid-back atmosphere.

There's lots more to do: admire the majestic nature at Parque Estadual do Caracol, pause for some serene contemplation at Paroquia Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, learn about winemaking at Vitivinicola Jolimont, and examine the collection at Museu da Moda - MUM.
