Although its luxury shops, nightlife, casinos, and high-end restaurants give Cannes a feeling of exclusivity, this classic French Riviera city has alternatives to suit every budget.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Thu): head off the coast to Lérins Islands and then take a stroll through Le Suquet. Here are some ideas for day two: take a stroll through Rue d'Antibes, shop like a local with La Croisette, then make a trip to Les Murs Peints, and finally appreciate the history behind Monuments aux Morts.

Change things up with these side-trips from Cassis: Bormes-Les-Mimosas (Scuba & Snorkeling & Chapelle Saint-Francois-de-Paule) and Hyeres (Eglise Saint Louis & Vieille Ville).
