The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
You've now added Busan Tower to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sun): take in panoramic vistas at Busan Tower. On your second day here, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Jagalchi Market, and then kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach.

You can fly from Seoul to Busan in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In August, daily temperatures in Busan can reach 36°C, while at night they dip to 27°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 25th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Daegu.

A bright and modern city lying just north of the capital, Goyang offers a slower pace than its sprawling neighbor, with wide leafy boulevards and and lush city parks.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Haengju Fortress and Bukhansanseong Fortress. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ilsan Lake Park and Seooreung Royal Tombs. There's more to do: browse the different shops at Lafesta and wander the wide-open spaces of Wondang Jongma Mokjang.

You can drive from Jeonju to Goyang in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train and subway; or do a combination of bus and subway. In August, daytime highs in Goyang are 35°C, while nighttime lows are 27°C. You will leave for Seoul on the 31st (Mon).
