Niš is the third largest city in Serbia and the administrative center of the Nišava District in southern Serbia. Popular historic sites such as Nis Fortress and Red Cross Nazi Concentration Camp are in your itinerary. Explore hidden gems such as Skull Tower and Mediana. Go for a jaunt from Nis to Despotovac to see Manasija Monastery about 1h 30 min away. Next up on the itinerary: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Trinity Cathedral, steep yourself in history at Christogram Monument, and admire the landmark architecture of Banovina.

Stockholm, Sweden to Nis is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Stockholm in June, with highs in Nis at 32°C and lows at 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Belgrade.

The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Explore hidden gems such as Oplenac and Cathedral Church. Smederevo Fortress and Crkva Svetog Oca Nikolaja will appeal to history buffs. Step out of Belgrade to go to Kostolac and see Viminacium Archaeological Park, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Residence of Princess Ljubica (Konak Kneginje Ljubice, learn about all things military at Military Museum, stop by Knez Mihailova, and get curious at Nikola Tesla Museum.

Zrenjanin

Zrenjanin is a city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. Start off your visit on the 11th (Sat): get outside with SRP Carska Bara and then don't miss a visit to Zgrada Skupstine Grada. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 12th (Sun): examine the collection at Narodni muzej Zrenjanin and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Zrenjanin Catholic Cathedral.
