As one of Spain’s most well-preserved medieval cities, Segovia is known for its 1st-century Roman aqueduct that runs through the city center.
Explore hidden gems such as Parque Natural Hayedo de Tejera Negra and Castillo de Gormaz. Get some cultural insight at Don Carlos Bodega Historica and Bodegas Legaris. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Segovia: Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion (in Duraton), Pedraza (Carcel de la Villa & Pedraza Castle) and Tiermes (in Montejo de Tiermes). There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Monasterio de Santa Maria de La Vid, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de Santa Maria, appreciate the extensive heritage of Calle Real de Segovia, and do a tasting at Bodegas y vinedos PRADOREY.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airport is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport. In January, daytime highs in Segovia are 49°F, while nighttime lows are 39°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
