Start off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): stroll through Surfers Paradise Beach. Keep things going the next day: enjoy breathtaking views from SkyPoint Climb, take in panoramic vistas at SkyPoint Observation Deck, and then get in on the family fun at Sea World Theme Park.

Sydney to Gold Coast is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. Expect a daytime high around 24°C in June, and nighttime lows around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to drive to Noosa.

On your second day here, have some family-friendly fun at Psychic Readings Twin Featherz, identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, and then get great views at Mount Coot-tha Lookout.

Traveling from Brisbane in June, Airlie Beach is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Cairns.

A neat, cosmopolitan city of shaded plazas and laid-back neighborhoods, Cairns serves as a popular base for exploration of the surrounding region and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as a center for watersport activities like surfing or waterskiing.
Get out of town with these interesting Cairns side-trips: Palm Cove (Spas & Palm Cove Beach). There's lots more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, stroll through Esplanade Boardwalk, and admire the natural beauty at Botanical Gardens.

Cape Tribulation

A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
Step out of Cape Tribulation to go to Daintree and see Photography Tours, which is approximately 56 minutes away. There's lots more to do: go for a walk through Marrdja Botanical Walk, admire the sheer force of Alexandra Bay Waterfall, take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, and enjoy the sand and surf at Myall Beach.
