The heart of Pennsylvania's famous "Dutch Country," Lancaster is one of the nation's oldest inland cities, founded in 1730.
Attractions like Old Windmill Farm and The Amish Farm and House make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, steep yourself in history at President James Buchanan's Wheatland, relax in the rural setting at Myers Strawberry Farm, and engage your brain at The Lancaster Science Factory.

Sometimes known as the "Buckle of the Bible Belt," Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma.
Attractions like Safari Zoological Park and Philbrook Museum of Art make great kid-friendly stops.
